Okay, I changed the date to 27th. I am not the organizer though. But I am just hoping people would be flexible about the date. Never been to Ants Cafe. How is the place? Is it noisy or quiet? I think we would need a quiet place to discuss nicely.
Thanks!
It'a quite place. Though I've never been there, but I've seen the place. It's in the inner lane of New Horiszon School.
I've heard good things about the place . . . . . .
New Horizon School is close to my place. I am game. I am updating the venue details then. I hope 4:00 PM on 27th March suits everyone. If not, let us discuss here. A language exchange session has to be a recurring meetup. It would be hard to learn a new language in just a couple of hours. BTW, I am also desperately looking for a mate who knows or is learning or is about to learn French. I am learning French but I want to practise conversing with someone who would be interested.
Hey, I wont be able to attend this one...but will be good to have similar meetups in future. I am interested in finding a learning partner for German.
Hi Mimi,
I've learnt German & would love to connect & revive my learnings again.............
hey.. just wanna know which language exchange session is on 27th.. is anyone learning spanish here ...
Looks like there is no common language that all of us seemed to be interested in. I'm interested in French because that's what I am learning.
How about Kannada? I don't know Kannada and it should be fun and useful to learn it.
i like this idea.. kannada will be really very useful for us in our day 2 day life ....
I don't know a lot of languages, so maybe there isn't much I can contribute. But would love to learn some. Can I still come?
Hey Devashish, I am a beginner in French and I may not be as good as you but I would sure love to learn.
Atul, please do come. Since there is no common language everyone wants to work on, we would perhaps be talking about languages in a way that makes sense to all. We can share bits and pieces of what we know regarding various languages. If we leave the place with a little more knowledge and a few new friends, I guess it can be considered a useful meetup.
Jyoti,
I had been to Ants Cafe today for the Bangalore Books Club meetup and I have to say it is a nice and peaceful place. Excellent place indeed for meetups. Thanks for suggesting Ants Cafe. :-)
@Spal: Thanks bro. See you there. Since this would be my first attendance, any pointers on how to locate you folks would be certainly helpful.
I promised to share this link in our last meeting when we were discussing evolution and richard dawkins.
