TRIP TO VALPARAI-ATHIRAPPALLY-BANDIPUR

I'm planning for a trip and looking for people to join. The route is Bangalore-Valparai-Athirappally-Bandipur-Bangalore.
Valparai is a comparatively unspoilt hill station in Tamilnadu. Athirappally is a popular waterfalls in Kerala (Many film shootings happen here, the latest being 'Ravan'). Bandipur is a well known national park in Karnataka.
It'll be a road trip (long drive). The plan is, 2 cars - 8 people. I have a car and anyone else with car is welcome. I've talked informally with people in this group and outside, but I need confirmation, hence this meetup announcement.
The date and time mentioned here are tentative; It can be Oct 5 evening or Oct 6 early morning, which can be discussed and decided. And we return back by Oct 9 night.
Oct 6th is holiday. If you take off on 7th, you'll end up with 4 days leave. I prefer and conduct budget trips :-), so it shouldn't burn your pocket.

I may join at last minute. My Alto will take another challenge for a long trip.. One of my friend (gal) wants to come but she expects atleast a few other gals for her company........any one there?........ If any other person having car please ping here... Organizer is open for group travel.. As going by car......we can organize fire camps, mini trekking etc..3 to 4 cars will be too nice... .........Expect variety of people from old to young both guys and gals... keep posting message..

The members who have RSVP-ed are expected to come. In case they drop out, they can cancel their RSVPs before 5 p.m., Oct 3. This will at least free up the slots and someone wait listed can enter. Please don't drop out at the 11th hour jeopardizing the trip.

I and Sudhir met and we are committed to go. No news from Amar Sheriff and Hyder Ali. It is very disappointing to see people taking things for granted. It is not enough if you RSVP yes and then vanish. Please call me at the earliest if you really want to come. Otherwise, cancel your RSVPs.

Two of my friends (from other meetups) called me and they too could make a last minute decision......both of them have got a car (i10 & i20)....... so 5th evening (8 to 10PM) we will discuss over phone... 6th early morning 10PM :) we will start......

I'm not averse to cutting off one of the places which we can decide on the spot. Since we are going by car, we always have the flexibility and convenience to alter the schedule. When you climb the western ghats from Tamilnadu side, you get Valparai. And you climb down the Kerala side, you get athirappally. These two are not far away really. We can visit these and come back taking off Bandipur.
